BBC Breakfast Visits Newton Bridge Academy

Our Post 16 students at Newton Bridge Academy enjoyed a truly unforgettable day last week as they welcomed the BBC Breakfast team into school.

The BBC crew spent the morning meeting students and learning all about the fantastic work they do at the community café in Grantham town. The visit provided a wonderful opportunity for students to share their experiences, demonstrate their skills and talk about the positive impact the café has on both themselves and the local community.

Throughout the visit, our students impressed everyone with their confidence, enthusiasm and professionalism. They did an incredible job showcasing the dedication, independence and teamwork they bring to the café every day, and we could not be prouder of their achievements.

Adding to the excitement, viewers will soon be able to see our students on BBC Breakfast’s ‘Rise and Shine’ feature, celebrating the inspiring opportunities and successes taking place at Newton Bridge Academy.
