Outdoor
Education
At Newton Bridge Academy we want to provide our pupils with the very best care and support. By providing outdoor learning and other extracurricular activities, we can help them achieve their true potential.
We have a multitude of outdoor education experiences available including our own Forest School where there are wheelchair accessible pathways with sensory stations and quiet areas as well as some with bamboo musical instruments. There are two fire pits and an outdoor classroom positioned right in the centre of the woodland. There is a small orchard and vast amounts of wild flowers, and bat boxes, bird boxes and a dove coop, inviting wildlife into the woodland.
Joe is a Forest School Level 3 Practitioner which means that full Forest School Teaching takes place.
